Coaching to help leaders connect with themselves.

With competing demands in a complex world, it is challenging to find time and space to think clearly.  By connecting with what they stand for and leaning into their talents and hidden possibilities, I help leaders develop their agility and fulfil their potential. Leaders might partner with me as their coach to help them:

  • Successfully navigate a promotion or change in circumstance
  • Build confidence and self-belief by digging into what’s important to them and what they need to lead authentically
  • Overcome challenges – dealing with difficult relationships, competing work and personal priorities, or a crisis in confidence
  • Manage energy, build resilience and wellbeing
  • Step back from the day-to-day, reflect on what’s going on and gain perspective in order to take action

At its core, my coaching is person-centered and humanistic. I meet my clients where they are at, providing a safe space that is free from judgement and a ‘thinking partnership’ that enables them to find solutions for themselves.

My style is warm, relaxed and sharing of myself in service of building, connection and trust.  We all hold many roles in our lives – business person, partner, friend etc. I coach the ‘whole person’ and I like to get into conversations about what is really going on under the surface. This is where the transformational, long-term change occurs.

I’m an ICF ACC accredited coach and hold a Post-Graduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching.

“Beware the man of a single book” was a mantra I embraced in my training. To this end, I’m an NLP Business Practitioner, hold a Foundation in Gestalt Coaching and am Dare to Lead Trained. I’ve done further study in ACT, CBT and Positive Psychology. The tools I draw upon when coaching are driven by what feels right for each client and what they wish to achieve.

I love to work outdoors, harnessing the benefits nature has to offer including wellbeing, creativity and perspective. So don’t be surprised if I suggest we grab our coats and take a walk, or sit on a bench (it works virtually too)!

Coaching works because it is all about you. When you connect with what you really want and why – and take action – magical things can happen.

What might a coaching programme look like?

As a guide, a coaching programme typically consists of:

An initial ½ hour exploratory ‘no strings’ conversation to help us get to to know each other a little and work out if we might partner well together.

This might be virtual, by phone or over a coffee – whatever suits best.

Whilst bespoke to each client, a typical coaching session is 1.5 hrs and a programme often consists of 6 sessions.

Sessions can be virtual, by phone, in person and outdoors!

Most clients find a coaching session every 4-5 weeks works best.  Again, we flex according to your needs and diary demands.
